Cat Tien’s Secrets: A Thrilling Journey Through Nature and Wildlife

Morning: Ecological Trail Start your exciting adventure with a scenic river crossing, where your guide will meet you at the Park Headquarters to begin the day’s trek. The journey takes you into the heart of the jungle, where you’ll marvel at nature’s giants, including the awe-inspiring 500-year-old Tung tree. As you venture deeper, you’ll explore hidden paths leading to ancient, towering plants like Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (Bang Lang), Tetrameles Nudiflora (Tung), and the iconic Afzelia Cyclocarpa (Go). Along the way, encounter the elusive wild gibbons, often seen in the early morning, and discover the serene beauty of Heaven's Rapids (Thac Troi) before returning to the headquarters.

• 08:00 am: Departure to Cat Tien National Park

Evening: Night Safari As dusk falls, the jungle transforms into a vibrant and active habitat, with many species coming to life under the cover of night. This is the prime time to see animals in their natural, active environment, near their food and water sources.

On a tranquil island, just five minutes upstream from the ferry station lies the Dao Tien Primate Center, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing endangered primates. Here, you’ll get an up-close look at golden-cheeked gibbons, black-shanked doucs, silvered langurs, and pygmy lorises—all rescued from illegal trade and now receiving the care they need for a second chance at life in the wild.
