7:30 AM: Your guide will greet you at your hotel before we embark on a scenic bus ride to My Tho City. During this 90-minute journey, enjoy the lush green rice paddies and picturesque countryside views. Our first stop will be the stunning Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta, where you can admire its intricate architecture and serene surroundings.
We’ll continue to My Tho, where you’ll board a boat for a peaceful cruise along the iconic Mekong River. As we glide through the water, observe the floating houses and fish farms, and catch a glimpse of the daily river life.
The boat will take you into a tranquil canal, offering a break from the bustling town. We’ll then land on Coconut Island in Ben Tre, where you can stroll through the village, soaking in the natural beauty. Visit a local family’s home to savor fresh tropical fruits, sip on honey tea and honey wine, and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese music performance by the villagers. Don’t miss the chance to witness the making of delicious coconut candy and explore coconut-based handicrafts.
Noon: Take plenty of time to snap photos and absorb the serene environment before we head to a charming local restaurant. Lunch will feature a variety of classic Vietnamese dishes, served outdoors under the shade of trees, creating a perfect, relaxing atmosphere.
After lunch, feel free to unwind, take a leisurely walk around the village, or try a short bike ride through the area. We will then head back to Saigon, with an expected arrival time around
