Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ben Tre
(Meals: L -D)

7:30 am: After breakfast, depart from Ho Chi Minh City and take a scenic drive through lush countryside to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta.

9:30 am: Arrive at Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful Buddhist temple with impressive giant Buddha statues and intricate architecture.

10:30 am: Board a boat at My Tho Pier and cruise along the Tien River, passing Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix Islands.

11:30 am: Stop at Thoi Son Islet, where you can taste fresh tropical fruits while enjoying a traditional Southern folk music performance.

12:30 am: Enjoy a delicious Mekong-style lunch at a local riverside restaurant, featuring Deep-fried elephant earfish, spring rolls, and caramelized clay pot fish.

2:00 pm: Continue to Ben Tre, known as the “Coconut Kingdom” of Vietnam. Take a sampan ride through coconut tree-lined canals and visit a coconut candy workshop.

4:30 pm: Check in to a charming eco-lodge or equivalent homestay in Ben Tre.

6:30 pm: Experience a home-cooked Mekong Delta dinner, featuring freshwater prawns, braised pork, and Vietnamese pancakes (bánh xèo).

Overnight in Ben Tre.

Day 2: Ben Tre - Can Tho
(Meals: B- L - D)

7:30 am: Enjoy a countryside breakfast with Vietnamese coffee and bánh mì before biking through peaceful villages, stopping to chat with locals and see how they make rice paper and conical hats.

10:00 am: Depart for Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta. Along the way, stop at a fruit farm to pick and taste fresh mangoes, longans, or jackfruit.

12:30 pm: Arrive in Can Tho and have lunch at a riverside restaurant, trying grilled snakehead fish, Mekong Delta hotpot, and fresh seafood.

2:30 pm: Visit Binh Thuy Ancient House, a well-preserved 19th-century house famous for its French and Vietnamese architecture.

4:00 pm: Take a boat ride along the Can Tho River and visit Son Islet, where you can try catching fish the traditional way and enjoy a home-cooked meal.

6:30 pm: Dinner at L’Escale Restaurant, offering a mix of French and Vietnamese cuisine with stunning river views.

Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 3: Can Tho - Chau Doc (Floating Markets & Khmer Culture)

5:30 am: Wake up early to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest and most famous floating market in Vietnam. Watch local traders sell fresh produce from their boats while enjoying a bowl of noodle soup (hủ tiếu) on the water.

8:30 am: Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.

10:00 am: Depart Chau Doc, a unique riverside town near the Cambodian border with a rich mix of Vietnamese, Cham, and Khmer cultures.

12:30 pm: Have lunch at a floating restaurant, trying local specialties like grilled catfish and Cambodian-style curry.

2:30 pm: Visit Tra Su Cajuput Forest, an incredible wetland sanctuary home to diverse wildlife and a stunning waterway covered with green duckweed. Take a boat ride through the flooded forest, spotting birds and lotus flowers.

5:30 pm: Check in to a riverside hotel or a floating homestay in Chau Doc.

7:00 pm: Enjoy a traditional Khmer dinner at local restaurant.

Day 4: Chau Doc - Ha Tien (Border Town & Hidden Beaches)

2:00 pm: Explore Thach Dong Cave, a mysterious limestone cave with ancient legends and stunning stalactites.

Day 5: Ha Tien - Ho Chi Minh City
